Album
This hit film was followed by a sequel - "Phir Hera Pheri" (2006)
This film was a remake of the hit Malayalam film " Ramji Rao Speaking" (1989), written and directed by Siddique - Lal. "Ramji Rao Speaking" was also remade in Tamil as "Arangetra Velai" (1990). The Malayalam film itself was adapted from the American TV movie "See The Man Run" (1971).
Sanjay Dutt was the original choice for the role that was played by Sunil Shetty in this film. He had backed out from the film since he was very busy at the time.
Song
Mujhse Milti Hai Ek Ladki Rozana - This song was apparently shot on Akshay Kumar and Rambha but was removed from the film's final cut.
Jab Bhi Koi Haseena Dekhoon - This song was inspired by the song "Return Of The Mack" (1996) by the British R&B artist Mark Morrison.
