Ashish Mehra is a 50-year-old NRI businessman settled in London. He meets the 26 year-old Ayesha Khurana; they begin dating and a serious relationship, living together. Ashish informs her that he is separated from his wife Manjana "Manju" Rao who live in India with their children. To introduce Ayesha to his family, he takes her to his home in Manali. There, Manju and their children now live with Ashish's parents. His daughter Ishita is irritated by his arrival, believing he will ruin the meeting with her to-be father-in-law Atul Saxena. Startled, Ashish lies Ayesha to be his secretary. There's more chaos and confusion covered with lies. Ashish is introduced as Manju's brother to Ishita's future in-laws. Ayesha and Manju fail to get along well. Angered, Ishita shouts at Ashish seeing him with Ayesha. Finally he reveals he brought Ayesha to gain their approval; Atul also learns from Ishita that Ashish is her father. He is blamed as Ishita's marriage is called off. That night, Ashish and Manju sleep together as she breaks down and he consoles her. Next day as Ayesha finds out, she feels cheated and shouts on Manju who responds about still being his wife and Ayesha being the other woman. Disheartened and dejected, Ayesha returns to London. Ashish convinces Atul for the marriage, and begins missing Ayesha though arrangements go in full swing. Manju reaches London to ask Ayesha to give Ashish a chance, telling her the divorce papers are ready. Ayesha reunites with him. In a mid-credits scene, the two argue on whether they should meet Ayesha's family.
